No more stigma
That's Cindy's own philosophy, and it's the whole reason Lumu Health exists: mental health care that meets you exactly where you are.
Let Us Meet You Where You Are
That's the practice's full name, and it's not just a tagline — it's literally how Cindy works: sessions happen by telehealth, wherever you are, on a schedule that fits your life rather than the other way around. The lotus marks growth through difficulty; the heart is the care behind every visit.
Cynthia “Cindy” Glover-Singleton, CRNP, PMHNP-BC
Cindy is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Maryland license R202535), with more than 10 years of experience as an Emergency Room nurse and over 3 years as a PMHNP. Her career has been shaped by a commitment to compassionate, whole-person care and a deep belief in meeting people where they are — whether in crisis, in recovery, or in pursuit of better health.
The practice is registered as Let Us Meet You Where You Are LLC — see above for what that name means to her.
Stabilize what's urgent, understand the person behind the symptoms
In Cindy's own words: she practices with a calm, whole-person, trauma-informed approach that blends emergency-level clinical judgment with compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care — stabilize what's urgent, understand the person behind the symptoms, and partner with patients to build sustainable emotional wellness.
Comprehensive, not just symptoms
A comprehensive, integrative approach that nurtures the body, mind and spirit, not just the symptoms.
Evidence-based therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered and Trauma-Focused approaches, matched to what fits you.
A genuine alliance
She meets you exactly where you are, building a working relationship rather than running through a checklist.
Still growing her practice
Cindy holds a Master of Science in Nursing (Psychiatric/Mental Health) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, both from Walden University. She is currently a Family Nurse Practitioner student at Western Governors University (2025–2027), expanding her scope to deliver integrated, comprehensive care across the lifespan. Colleagues describe her as caring, loyal and grounded — a team player who shows up with purpose and leads with integrity.
Ages 12 to 90, individuals and couples
Cindy works with adolescents, adults and older adults, individuals and couples, and welcomes LGBTQ+ clients, with a special focus on busy professionals. Her four main focus areas are ADHD, anxiety, depression and PTSD, and she treats a broad range of psychiatric and mental health conditions, including:
ADHD · Anxiety · Depression · Bipolar disorders · Mood disorders
PTSD · OCD · Personality disorders · Schizophrenia · Thinking disorders
Substance abuse evaluation & addiction · Alcohol dependency · Opioid & prescription drug misuse
Anger management · Impulse control disorders · Insomnia · Health anxiety · Stress
Cindy also supports individuals experiencing self-harm or suicidal thoughts. If you're in crisis right now, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room — that's faster than any appointment booking.
